Hello everyone! My name is Kahealani Hunter. I am a military child and have lived in a couple of different states, but I have been calling Our Lady Star of the Sea my home parish for about 3 years now! I am super excited to be stepping into this new role of Star Missionary and to give back to the community in this way!

I enjoy spending my time crocheting anything from pillows and scarves to tiny stuffed saints! (Ask to see my crochet project portfolio. ;) ) I like to bend my mind around puzzles and riddles and some of my favorite games are Portal 2 and the Room. I love to continue learning about my Catholic faith; there always feels like there is so much to learn and so many new ways to encounter God.

​I converted to Catholicism back in 2020 and my life has not been the same since! (How could it?) I love what God has done in my life, and I am looking forward to helping the teens here at the parish prepare to receive the sacrament of Confirmation and be brought closer to Him!
